Iris Gelain Lindsey, 77, of Waldo, Arkansas died October 23, 2001 at Magnolia City Hospital. 

She was born March 9, 1924 in Yazoo City, Mississippi to the late Clay William and Floy (Norman) Coleman.  She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Magnolia, Arkansas and was a sales clerk at various department stores.

She is survived by her husband, Oris M. Lindsey of Waldo, Arkansas; a daughter, Sandra Lindsey Todd and husband Kenneth of Texarkana, Texas; a sister, Imogene Herring of Magnolia, Arkansas; a grandson, Lee Randall Todd of Tyler, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday October 25, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Lewis Chapel with Rev. Martin Woodard and Rev. Charles Baskin officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Archie Ray Madison, Allen Shumaker, Raymond Wilson, Mike Lindsey, Mark Eades, Aaron Street.
